Episode 88
In a recent podcast episode, Jason and I delved into a captivating array of topics, from the electrifying world of women's basketball to the tantalizing tapestry of global cuisine, with a special spotlight on the culinary wonders of New York City. Our conversation transported us from the court side cheers to the savory aromas wafting through the streets of the Big Apple, where every bite tells a story of cultural fusion and culinary innovation. From the iconic New York slice to the intricate flavors of dim sum in Chinatown, the city's food scene embodies a rich tapestry of tastes that leave an indelible mark on anyone lucky enough to indulge. Amidst our talk of what a New Yorker would eat, Jason spoke about exploring exotic locales and the thrill of traveling to distant lands, where every corner promises a new adventure and a fresh perspective. Whether savoring the sights and sounds of bustling markets in Marrakech or basking in the serene beauty of Bali's beaches, the allure of exotic travel beckons with the promise of discovery and delight. Together, Jason and I marveled at the interconnectedness of these diverse passions, each one a thread in the vibrant fabric of our shared human experience.
What I admire the most about Jason is willingness to tell things like they are. He doesn't back down from challenges and he certainly challenged me in the episode. His work as a Run-Tri-Bike Marathoner is incredible reaching people all over the world. He's a very cool guy to talk with and it was an absolute treasure to have him on the show. When we started talking the connection was instantly there, it was like we'd known one another forever. You can take the folks out of the city but you can't take the city out of the folks!
