KDTime: "You Can Do it" (Sports Movies)

"You Can Do it" one of the most common phrases in most of Adam Sandler's movies and a few of them are on the following list. There is no rhythm nor rhyme about this list. It is really just a list of sports movies that I've seen and enjoyed over the years. And there are plenty more out to see I know, but these were the ones that I have definitely seen and seen a lot. Some still more than others! My favorite sports movie and movie of all time is Remember the Titans. It is such a classic feel good movie. Here is the list so far...

Comment your favorite sports movie or movies!

Bend it Like Beckham (2002)

White Men Can’t Jump (1992)

Rocky (1976)

Coach Carter (2005)

Happy Gilmore (1996)

Longest Yard (Adam Sandler) (2005)

Uncle Drew (2018)

42 (2013)

Trouble with the Curve (2012)

The Blind Side (2009)

Here Comes the BOOM (2012)

She’s the Man (2006)

Bring it On (2000)

Semi-Pro (2008)

Dodgeball (2004)

The Cutting Edge (1992) Neither Moira Kelly (voice of older Nala in The Lion King) nor DB Sweeney knew how to skate before filming

Jump in (2007) Disney musical hits like Push it to the limit. I had no idea double dutch was competition worthy makes me wish just a little bit that I learned in elementary while I was getting good at sports lol

Juwanna Mann (2002)

Kicking & Screaming (Will Ferrell) (2005)

Keanu Reeves Hardball (2001) seeing keanu reeves singing Big Poppa and the boys getting into it was awesome.

Angels in the Outfield (1994) aww little joseph gordon levitt, matthew macaughney, danny glover, tony danza this movie is so underrated as a sports movie.

Double Teamed (2002)

The Sandlot 1 & 2 (1993,2005) kids and fear of large dogs. Despite popular opinion i like the sandlot 2 because it was probably the first time i saw girls play softball. How do they throw like that? lol

Like Mike (2002) magical sneakers, i wish that was real.

The 6th Man (1997) a comedy but so sad and even more so with Kobe gone.

Mighty Ducks 123 (92, 94, 96) quack quack quack the only hockey movie i’ve ever since sorry, i didn’t know a lot of the lingo but now i understand it lol

Cool Runnings (1993) feel the rhythm feel the rhyme get on up it’s bobsled time

Airbud (1997) this was probably the movie that solidified my wants for a dog. I’ve always wanted a dog and a golden retriever that i could teach cool tricks. Ugh that was the dream.
