KDTime: Love Story

Episode 48

In this episode, love is in the air for these television couples. And to be very clear this is completely opinionated, but with these couples they have a special place in my heart. They have that slow burn, that undeniable chemistry, that will they won't they feel, and all the vibes of an ENDGAME couple. Now I know there are a lot of television shows and a lot of OTPs but these chosen are mine. Who knows? I could do another episode because again there are lot of tv couples out there that could easily be ENDGAME.

5 Tv show Couples I absolutely love

  1. Meredith Grey & Derek Shepherd - Grey’s Anatomy
  2. Chuck & Sarah - Chuck
  3. Dwayne & Whitley - Different World
  4. Jamie & Fancy - The Jamie Fox Show
  5. Elena & Damon - The Vampire Diaries

Bonus Sinclair & Overton - Living Single

Dwayne & Whitley were from two completely different worlds. Whitley being a debutant and Wayne is a math genius who is headstrong. It’s like a small take from Beauty & the Beast, only the “beast” is really just a nerdy genius. The smart remarks, the slow burn, the there’s no way that these two will get together oh em gee they got together. They were one of the cornerstones of the iconic sitcom. Classic hate to love relationships. Even with it’s on again off again romance we still got to see they are ENDGAME. 6 season

Meredith & Derek start off very cutesy and gutsy because he’s her boss and they literally begin their relationship on a one night stand. Sometimes that works for people. I’ve never been in that situation but I'm not knocking it because I've heard some of those relationships have lasted. The secret romance, the elevator moments, the longing looks. His nickname around the hospital was McDreamy because of his eyes. They go through a lot and it never slows down for them but I think what makes it all worthwhile is the drama of it all. And we only get a glimpse of an “endgame” because well Derek is gone. So that endgame would be them reuniting in death. Honestly I can't see her with anyone else and this show is still on so i’m kinda forced too but it’ll always be him. Still going

Chuck & Sarah from Chuck are ENDGAME. From the very beginning you hope that these two get together and stay together but it wouldn’t be a love story if there wasn’t drama mixed in between. The development between them is exciting and classic will they won't they. Sarah has a job to do and Chuck is trying to learn how to do that same job but he has feelings. Sarah treats him like a job and he breaks down those walls and you just can’t help but root for those two. Their love is incomparable. They fall for each other in a way that is beautiful to see. The ending is bittersweet with a pesky memory loss mission but I believe they find their way back to each other.

Jamie & Fancy, The Jamie Foxx Show. Although this show is a sitcom, it's a majority comedy. Jamie is an aspiring musician who comes to work and live at his family’s hotel run by his Aunt & Uncle. In that time he works alongside Fancy who is the front desk clerk and he constantly flirts with her but she won’t give him the time of day. Well she doesn’t until the last couple of seasons in the show. All Jamie’s romantic advances toward Fancy are mostly unrequited and some of those scenes are down right hilarious. Fancy & Jamie eventually get together and then married by the series end but it is a fun ride to view along the way. I think what makes them a great couple is how it definitely takes time for Jamie to mature. And as he does so Fancy sees him in a whole new way where she can let her guard down to be with him. 5 seasons

Elena & Damon. Now I know what you are thinking… if you are a TVD The Vampire Diaries fan and you were a fan of Stelena or anyone but Damon & Elena that is fine. But you have to admit watching these two spar back and forth change throughout the series was wild. I didn’t like Damon at first but I let you in on a little secret. I am a fan of the underdog! Yes Damon is the underdog in this situation. He is supposed to be unlikable and mean and crazy. But does he not deserve love? Is he unworthy? Vampire bleh bleh aside Damon as a human was a good person. He got wrapped up in Katherine’s drama and subsequently chose a different path because of his heartaches. Drama with his dad and mom. This guy has a lot of issues but the chemistry he has with Elena is out of this world. Stefan is nice and a good guy when he’s not hopped up on blood binges, but he didn’t challenge Elena, he didn’t make her feel most alive. *her words* To be honest Damon could have chemistry with a brick wall and I’d ship it. His story is just so interesting and although he and Elena were endgame the real endgame was the relationship between the brothers Damon & Stefan. 8 long seasons.

Bonus Sinclaire & Overton (Ovie). Ovie is a hardworking guy, and a hopeless romantic. He pines after Sinclair for the first couple of seasons and then finally they get their time to shine together. They are cute and relatable. He is a wise, clever and loving handyman who absolutely adores Sinclaire. Their relationship isn’t quite a slow burn but it makes you smile. I like that out of the four ladies Sinclaire is the first to get married because it made sense. All three of the other girls had issues with the majority of their relationships. Kyle & Maxine could come close second but they made each other too crazy. I’m glad they reconciled in the end but I enjoyed watching Overton and Sinclaire more.

That’s all for now. Once again this was entirely opinion. No harm no foul here.
