"What’s up y'all? Welcome to ‘KDTime?! What?’ First off, I just want to say how excited I am to get this started. This podcast will be about anything I decide to talk about. The things I’ll talk about are a mix/ a variety if you will. Now if you enjoy random topics about whatever let’s get into this…This is my very first podcast and i am really excited about it but i’m also really nervous. Like what will i spend time talking about, truly it will be anything.
I gotta question. Do y'all remember the movie How to lose a guy in Ten Days? It’s a 2003 movie based on a short cartoon book of the same name by Michelle Alexander and Jeannie Long. It received a 42% from Rotten Tomatoes. The plot is pretty self-explanatory. Kate Hudson’s character, Andie is a writer for the magazine Composure. She’s the “How to” girl and spent some time writing different “How to” articles that created a real following. She strives to be more than just a puffer piece. And after her best friend’s recent relationship ends so soon she decides to use this information to create the newest article “How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days”. Matthew McConaughey’s character, Ben works as an advertising executive striving to produce a new diamond campaign. His boss questions him about romance to which Ben feels challenged and retorts he can make any woman/girl fall in love with him. His boss then takes him up on the bet requesting this happen by the time they have to go to the ball which is in 10 days. Ben’s rivals at work set him up with Andie and then we as an audience sees what happens between the couple. My question for you ladies is pretty obvious, has any girl actually tried to lose a guy by doing what Kate Hudson’s character did in the movie? Let’s see, what did she do?
Would any of these actually work? I feel like guys would go running way earlier from “crazy” girls especially if they haven’t even had sex yet. But then there’s the stereotype of how the crazier the better when it comes to sex. So I’ve heard. If anybody has any comments on that I’ll read them on my next podcast episode before I begin the new one."
